Anthracite

Our Anthracite is a premium quality product that complies with UNE-EN 12909 and AWWA B100 regarding drinking water treatment for human consumption, and it has the NSF worldwide certificate. Its use is optimal in single-layer or multimedia filters. Thanks to its angular shape and in combination with sand, garnet or gravel, high performance is achieved with lower pressure drop. As a result, better filtration runs and longer time between backwashes. Counting with references in desalination plants of more than 600,000 m3/d in the MENA area, Asia and South America, our product has consolidated its position in the market. Zeolite VIDEO

In compliance with the parameters of UNE-EN 16070, Zeolite supplied by KEIKEN has also the NSF worldwide certification. Its use is highly recommended in seawater and brackish water desalination plants and drinking water treatment plants. Of natural origin, and with a reduced carbon footprint, it can retain suspended particles from 1 micron upwards. Pumice stone

It is a very porous mineral that comes from volcanic igneous rock. Its carbon footprint is reduced due to its open pit extraction process. Our pumice stone complies with the UNE-EN 12906:2013 standard for the treatment of water for human consumption. Its low specific gravity, high porosity, and excellent filtration properties make pumice a good alternative to anthracite for SWRO and desalination applications, and recommended in drinking, industrial, and wastewater treatment. Due to its larger flow volume, it is excellent for filtration of water with a high concentration of suspended solids, reducing SDI and turbidity. In BB 1 m3.

Activated Carbon

Our product complies with UNE-EN 12915:2009 and it has the NSF worldwide certification.
Keiken GAC can be of either mineral or vegetable origin (from coconut shells) and stands out for its carbon and iodine content, which allows us to achieve high adsorption performance. Activated by high temperature water vapor, our GAC has a rich internal porosity and a large free surface area for adsorption. It is a highly effective adsorbent media for the removal of unwanted substances, mainly organic matter and chlorine, in both gases and liquids. In BB 1 m3 and 25 kg bags.

Garnet

In accordance with UNE-EN 12910 and AWWA B100 standards, and holding the NSF 61 certification, KEIKEN's Garnet meets the most demanding specifications for drinking water purification, wastewater treatment and industrial effluents.

It is especially suitable for the filtration of water with high rates of metals, and it is recommended for using in dual filters together with Anthracite, or even single-layer filters.

Manganese Dioxide

According to UNE-EN 13752, it stands out for its purity of up to 85%. It is the most suitable and effective filtering media for the purification and water treatment operating with water that it contains an excessive amount of iron and manganese. It is used in single-layer or dual filters, and multimedia beds, in combination with silica sand, gravel and anthracite, and in both gravity and pressurized filters. This manganese dioxide is manufactured considering manganese minerals with high catalytic activity, free of contamination, and without additives.

Sand

Our Silica Sand has even more than 98% of SIO2, and it complies with European and International standards and certifications such as UNE EN-12904, ANSI, and AWWA B100, related to water treatment for human consumption.

Our silica sand accomplishes to a strict classification process, achieving a precise particle size distribution. And it is offered in a wide range of granulometries from 0.5 mm to 5 mm. 100% natural, washed, odorless and without dirt, and free of any toxic substances and heavy metals, it is an excellent choice for any filtration equipment.

Gravel

Our Gravel has physical properties that it defines as a product of the highest quality, and it complies with European and International standards (UNE EN-12904, ANSI/AWWA B100) for the treatment of water for human consumption.We offer customized gravel classifications to meet each customer's requirements.
Thanks to its excellent mineral and composition characteristics, it is an excellent and economical product for holding other filtering media (Anthracite, Zeolite, Silica Sand and Garnet). In BB 1 m3.

Limestone

Keiken offers a premium limestone with a calcium carbonate content of more than 98%. This is a specific product for the re-mineralization of water and post-treatment phase in desalination plants and after the reverse osmosis stage. It complies with the UNE-EN 1018 standard that regulates its use in the treatment of water for human consumption.  
Like all our products, our calcite is subjected to a strict classification process, achieving a precise granulometric distribution that fits the specifications of each client.
